He can hear a distressed buzzing and buglike chittering inside and he's not certain who it belongs to. He thinks perhaps it's the zerglings. He doesn't think he's ever heard Alexei do that. Though if he did, Reinhardt wouldn't mind. Instead, he would sit and insist that Alexei sit down and help him learn to talk to the little ones. But now is not the time to discuss what he's heard behind that door. Now is the time to show this man how loyal he can be.
He stands before that door and hums a little. "Alexei..." He doesn't want to actually go, but he knows he's being turned away. He should listen. He should leave. He should respect Alexei's position and his privacy and not impose. That would be what was right. But he doesn't want to go.
He really doesn't want to. He hates the idea of leaving knowing that the man he loves is out of sorts behind that door. Especially hearing the reasoning. He's being turned away because his love is trying to protect him. It brings a lump to his throat. "You'd never hurt me." He murmurs. "Never. I know you won't. I trust you, Alexei. No matter what's happening, I know you wouldn't." He takes a slow breath. "So...I'm not going to go. Not unless you give me a direct order. Unless it's a direct order to my face, Vice Admiral, I'm going nowhere. I'm not going to leave you alone with this. I'll be right there for the minute you need be to bring you anything."
