He has the little ones down and tucked in. He hopes they'll stay asleep. Just this once. His usual task after that would be to join Alexei in the kitchen. Help out with the last steps of coffee. He likes it. He likes how they fit so well together. The two of them dancing around each other in that small kitchen, sometimes brushing hands or bumping shoulders or hips. It's always so warm, happy. But right now, Alexei is being so distant. Almost cold. He had been told why, but he still wants to be with the man.

However, Reinhardt respects the man he loves enough not to just force his company on him. He'a lucky he's been allowed in. He's not going to push his luck. Instead, he settles into what's become his personal chair here. His travel bag still sits at the door, as if it's waiting to be told he does have to leave. He pretends not to see any transfer of slime on Alexei's chair. Instead, he tries to make soft conversation. "You know, when I was a little boy and not feeling well, my mother would run a hot bath for me. Would you like that? Would it help?" Because he doesn't understand what Alexei is going through but he wants to know. He wants to help. He wants this man to know that what he's going through, he doesn't have to go through it alone. Not any more.
