That's it. That was exactly what he was after. That smirk. That laugh. It tells him that Alexei is indeed really okay. That he's not going to let this beat him. He hopes one day this man would learn that he would never see the man as a monstrous being. He'll also never see him as a pitiable wretch. He also sees Alexei Stukov, former Vice Admiral and man he adores. And he hopes that this man can over look his own little foibles and misgivings now and again.
"Exactly, Schatzi. We are a team, you and I. Everything that comes, we handle it together. You can always come to me with your troubles and should I have troubled of my own, I will surely come to you. I know you will always be my strength when I need it most. As I will be yours."
He feels those extra limbs moving and he chuckles a little. He enjoys the feeling of Stukov nestled against his chest. He hopes that even with the shedding, his love will allow him to share the bed together so he can have that feeling every night.
"Well, I am here." But since Alexei has spoken and Reinhardt is feeling extra loving, he lets himself be a little more knightly than he already is. He reaches down to scoop Alexei's legs up, so that he could carry the man, let him remain snuggled into his chest. "And you are here. Up you go. And now we find you that bath. The little ones are sleeping so maybe this time, Ivan won't try to muscle his way in to play with the bubbles." He starts towards the bathroom.
"And of course, my promise remains. I won't look if you don't wish me to. I respect you and your privacy."
